CFWA are a non-profit organisation who provide home support to families living with cystic fibrosis. We are looking for a casual pool of Community Health Workers to deliver home treatment to children with CF,including support with prescribed physiotherapy and exercise programs.
These positions would suit mature health science students who are looking for a few hours each week before or after school, working with a specific family in their local area.
• Job location – various locations (Bassendean, Thornlie, Wattle Grove, High Wycombe, Hamersley)
• Full initial and ongoing training provided
• Casual position with variable hours, approximately 2-3 hours per week initially with the possibility of more in future.
• $30 per hour plus travel allowance and superannuation
• Must be a permanent Australian resident
Applicants must be available before and after school.
Successful applicants must meet the following selection criteria:
• A demonstrated ability to engage with, motivate and relate to people of all ages
• Experience in health care or health science studies is preferred
• Experience with toddlers and young children is beneficial
• Own reliable transport and C class driver’s license
• Proficiency in English language
• Non-smoking
• Willing to obtain Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
• Availability to work before and after school
• Basic computer skills
