The Neighbourhood Honey Project was a brand I was setting up to help me sell honey at a premium. I am selling the brand only.
The idea was to have a distributed brand, that worked for any location. I could make different names for postcodes, suburbs, schools for fundraising, street names etc. Adding the local vibe to honey would let you charge a few bucks more. I managed to sell this to a few cafes for a premium price.
The reverse label would show the flavour of the honey and the beehive type it came from.
designed the labels, and they now are templated so that they can be easily and professionally printed.
The package includes

- All label artwork (source files and also templates) in Illustrator and PDF.
- Professonally directed photo shoot (with multiple shots made so that any concept can be placed in them) including jars, native plant layouts x3, food layouts x4, maps of every Australian and New Zealand capital city, jar layouts in every concievable way
- A presentation document for pitching to interested parties
- A website template (website isnt publically available but I can preview it if you like)
Packaging was sourced from Plasdene Glasspac so you can get the same from anywhere across Australia, no issue there.
The idea was very innovative. Social media wise it would work very well too, being highly localised.
I never pursued it because after growing my number of beehives to over 100, i became very allergic to beestings. So much so that I have had to give beekeeping away altogether. My loss is your gain though. I m valuing the work less than I paid for all the artwork, marketing, photograpjy and time I put into it.
Would hate to see the idea go to waste, its a good one, presented exceptionally well and it did work for the short time I was using it.
